Maneuver plans of the 3rd Army:

The purpose of the Turkish Army was to stabilize and tie down the Russians on the Zivin line with the 11th Corps and the 2nd Cavalry Division, and after the seizure of Oltu, reach the lateral and rear sides of the Russians over Çatak-Bardiz with 9th and 10th Corps.
